The Desert Botanical Garden Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona is a beautiful, protected area that supports the conservation of native plants and animals. The Garden covers 140 acres of the Sonoran Desert, and features more than 50,000 plants, including wildflowers, cacti, trees, shrubs and succulents. The Garden is home to a variety of wildlife, including coyotes, javelina, Gila monsters, quail, roadrunners and various species of hummingbirds.

The Desert Botanical Garden is divided into five themed trails. The Mesquite Trail showcases the Sonoran Desert's extensive mesquite tree collection, while the Desert Wildflower Trail features over 400 species of wildflowers. The Desert Discovery Trail is an interactive journey that educates visitors on the Sonoran Desert's unique plants and animals. Other trails include the Cactus and Succulent Trail, which showcases a variety of cacti and other succulents, and the Sonoran Desert Nature Trail, which provides an up-close look at the plants and animals that inhabit the Sonoran Desert.

The Garden also offers educational programs, including workshops, classes, lectures and guided tours. Visitors can also explore the Garden's shop, café and library, which are all designed to foster a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
