The Arizona Humane Society (AHS) is a non-profit animal welfare organization located in Phoenix, Arizona. The AHS was founded in 1957 and is the only private, non-profit animal welfare organization in Arizona. The AHS provides shelter and care for homeless, injured and neglected animals in the Phoenix area. The AHS also offers a variety of animal adoption services, including adoption counseling, pet foster care and placement, pet education and outreach, and pet behavior training.

The Arizona Humane Society provides shelter and care for almost 19,000 animals each year, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds and other small animals. The AHS also operates a 24-hour emergency medical center for injured animals, as well as a pet cemetery for those who have passed away. The AHS also operates a spay/neuter clinic and a trap-neuter-return program for feral cats.

The AHS is dedicated to helping the animals of Arizona, and works to provide them with a safe and loving environment. The AHS also works with other animal welfare organizations in the community to help animals find loving homes. The AHS is committed to preventing animal cruelty and overpopulation, and provides pet owners with resources to help them care for their pets. The AHS also offers a variety of educational programs to help people learn more about responsible pet ownership.
