Bridal Veil Falls Yes, I know. The name Bridal Veil Falls is one of the most common. This series of cascades is found in Keystone Canyon, a beautiful gorge east of Valdez, Alaska. The falls empties into the Lowe River alongside the Richardson Highway (AK-4).

The Valdez Historical Preservation and Restoration Committee (VHPRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historical buildings, artifacts, and archives in Valdez, Alaska. Founded in 1976 by a group of local citizens, the committee's mission is to preserve the history and culture of the Valdez area and to promote the education and appreciation of its history through exhibits, programs, and other initiatives.

The VHPRC works to preserve and restore the city's historical buildings, artifacts, and archives, and to support educational activities to promote the appreciation and understanding of Valdez's history. The committee also works to preserve and protect the traditional culture and lifestyles of Alaska Natives in the region. In addition, the committee assists with the preservation and restoration of historic property throughout the region, including the nearby mining towns of McCarthy and Kennecott.

The VHPRC works closely with the City of Valdez, the State of Alaska, and other entities to ensure the protection and preservation of the city's historical resources. The committee also works to promote the appreciation and understanding of the region's cultural and natural heritage, and to encourage the preservation of local histories and traditions. The VHPRC is an active member of the State Historical Society of Alaska and is also part of the Alaska Historical Preservation Alliance. The committee's efforts have been recognized by the State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service.
