Bridal Veil Falls Yes, I know. The name Bridal Veil Falls is one of the most common. This series of cascades is found in Keystone Canyon, a beautiful gorge east of Valdez, Alaska. The falls empties into the Lowe River alongside the Richardson Highway (AK-4).

The Valdez Museum and Historical Archive Association (VMHAA) is located in Valdez, Alaska. Established in 1984, the VMHAA is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history, culture and heritage of the Valdez area. The mission of the association is to collect, preserve and share the history of Valdez and its people.

The VMHAA offers a variety of exhibits, seminars, field trips and other events related to the history of the area. The museum features a main gallery with a variety of artifacts, photographs and documents from the past. Other exhibits include a wildlife gallery, an Alaska Native gallery and a maritime gallery. The museum also houses a research library with books, maps, papers and photographs that document the history of the region.

The VMHAA also offers educational programs and workshops for adults and children. Programs are available in the summer and winter months, and include topics such as local history, archaeological sites, wildlife, and traditional and contemporary Alaska Native cultures.

The VMHAA is operated by a volunteer board of directors and staff, and has a variety of memberships available. Members receive discounts on admission and programs, as well as access to exclusive events throughout the year. The VMHAA also operates a book store and gift shop, featuring books, DVDs and other merchandise related to the history of the region.

The VMHAA is a great resource for those interested in learning about the history, culture and heritage of Valdez and the surrounding area.
