The Alaska Educators Historical Society (AEHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of education in Alaska. The organization was founded in Kenai, Alaska in 1991. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history of education in Alaska, and to promote the study of Alaska’s educational history.

The AEHS works to preserve the history of Alaska’s educational heritage by collecting documents, photographs, and artifacts, as well as conducting oral history interviews. The organization also provides educational programs and materials to schools, museums, and libraries throughout the state.

The AEHS hosts an annual conference, which includes workshops, exhibits, and presentations about Alaska’s educational history. The organization also publishes newsletters and books about the history of education in Alaska, and provides resources for teachers and students.

The AEHS is governed by a Board of Directors, and is supported by memberships, donations, and grants. The organization is open to anyone interested in learning about Alaska’s educational history, and encourages people to join and get involved in their mission.
