The Park Ridge Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Park Ridge, Illinois. Founded in 1968, the Society is committed to collecting and preserving the history of Park Ridge, its people, and its architecture. The Society also provides educational programs, lectures, and exhibits to promote a better understanding and appreciation of Park Ridge’s history.

The Society is supported by its members and governed by a Board of Directors. It operates out of a brick building located on Prospect Avenue in downtown Park Ridge. The building houses the Society’s archives, a research library, and a museum. The archives includes collections of photographs, documents, and other historical materials. The research library offers a variety of books and other materials about Park Ridge’s history. The museum features permanent and changing exhibits about Park Ridge's past.

The Park Ridge Historical Society also hosts a variety of events, such as lectures, walks, and workshops. It also sponsors the Park Ridge Historic Preservation Awards, which recognize local buildings and sites that have been preserved and maintained.
