The Lyman Allyn Art Museum is located in New London, Connecticut and is home to over 17,000 works of art. The museum was established in 1926 and is housed in an Italian Renaissance-style building. The building was made possible by the philanthropy of Harriet Upson Allyn, whose husband, Lyman Allyn, had been a successful local businessman.

The permanent collection of the museum includes American paintings, prints, and sculpture from the 18th century to the present. It also includes a variety of decorative art pieces, including furniture, silver, glass, pottery, and textiles. The museum also has a large collection of Native American artifacts, including basketry and beadwork.
