The McCourt Memorial Garden in Memory of Sept 11th Victims of SE in New London, Connecticut is a small, tranquil garden dedicated to the memory of those who perished in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. The garden was designed by landscape architect Richard Fleischner and constructed in 2002 with the help of donations from the local community. It features a memorial wall with inscriptions of the names of the victims and a fountain of water that streams over nine granite stones in the shape of the Twin Towers. The garden is surrounded by a stone wall, and the path leading up to it is lined with trees and shrubs.
