The Elverta Historical Society (EHS) is a non-profit organization located in the small town of Elverta, which is just outside of Roseville, California. The Society was founded in 1978 with the goal of preserving and promoting the Elverta area’s history and culture. The Society’s activities are carried out by a board of directors and many volunteers.

The EHS is dedicated to preserving Elverta’s rich history. They have a museum located in the old Elverta General Store which contains artifacts, photographs, and other items from the town’s past. The museum is open twice a month and is free to the public. The EHS also hosts events throughout the year, such as community festivals and historical reenactments.

The Society also provides educational programs to schools and other community organizations. They offer a variety of presentations, exhibits, and lectures on different aspects of Elverta’s history.
