The Santa Clara Valley Historical Association (SCVHA) is a non-profit organization based in Menlo Park, California. Founded in 1910 and incorporated in 1925, it is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Santa Clara Valley. The Valley is located in the south of the San Francisco Bay Area, and includes the cities of Palo Alto, Mountain View, Cupertino, and San Jose.

The SCVHA is responsible for preserving and interpreting the history of the Santa Clara Valley, including its people and landscapes. Through its museum and archives, the SCVHA preserves a variety of artifacts, photographs, documents, audio-visual materials, and oral histories. The museum also offers educational programs and special events throughout the year, including field trips, lectures, workshops, and living history performances.

The SCVHA also operates several historic sites, including the historic Adobe Stock Farm in Palo Alto and the historic Jose Maria Alviso Adobe in Milpitas. These sites are open to the public for tours and special events. In addition, the SCVHA partners with local businesses to provide walking tours, educational programs, and special events that explore the history of the Santa Clara Valley.

The SCVHA is an important resource for understanding the unique history of the Santa Clara Valley and its influence on the Bay Area and beyond. Through its museum, archives, and historic sites, the SCVHA works to preserve and share the Valley's history and culture with the public.

Prepare to be amazed We went to see Hanami, the cherry blossoms at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. It was an enchanting experience to walk at night below cherry trees in full blossom, and along bamboo trees. This is the main gate where you enter. I processed a realistic, a balanced, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image.
