Columbia State Historic Park, located in the Sierra foothills of Columbia, California, is a living history museum that preserves the Gold Rush town of Columbia. Established in 1945, the park is dedicated to preserving the mid-19th century lifestyle of the California gold rush era. The park is home to more than 20 original and restored buildings, many of which are open to the public. Visitors to the park can explore the museum, which includes a variety of artifacts from the gold rush era, or take a self-guided walking tour of the town.

The buildings in the park include the Wells Fargo Express Office, the City Hotel, the Chinese Store, the Fallon House, the Tuttletown Schoolhouse, the Blacksmith Shop, the Columbia Gazette, and more. The Wells Fargo Express Office is the oldest building in Columbia and was used as a stagecoach stop. The City Hotel was built in 1855 and served as a hotel for weary travelers. The Tuttletown Schoolhouse was used as a school from 1858 to 1871. The Blacksmith Shop was built in 1853 and was in use until the 1950s. And the Columbia Gazette was an important newspaper in the town during its heyday.

The park also offers a variety of activities, such as gold panning, nature walks, and horse-drawn carriage rides. There are also special events throughout the year, such as the Columbia Diggins Days, which celebrates the mining heritage of the town, and the Columbia Wine Festival, which features local wineries and craft breweries.
