Schriver House is a historic building located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Built in 1860, the house is a two-story brick structure with a gabled roof and a large front porch. The house was home to George and Hattie Schriver and their two young children during the Battle of Gettysburg.

During the battle, the house was used as a makeshift hospital for wounded soldiers. The Schriver family was forced to flee their home as the fighting raged around them. When they returned, they found their home had been transformed into a field hospital, with wounded soldiers occupying every room.

Today, the Schriver House has been restored and converted into a museum. Visitors can take a guided tour of the house and learn about the experiences of the Schriver family and the soldiers who were treated there during the battle. The museum also features exhibits on the medical practices of the time, including surgical instruments and medical treatments used during the Civil War.

The Schriver House is a significant historical site in Gettysburg and provides visitors with a unique glimpse into the lives of civilians and soldiers during one of the most significant battles of the American Civil War.
