The Jennie Wade House is a historic building located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It is named after Jennie Wade, who was the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. The house was built in 1842 and was used as a residence by the McClellan family until the Civil War began.

During the Battle of Gettysburg, the house was caught in the crossfire between the Union and Confederate armies. Jennie Wade was helping her sister and mother bake bread for Union soldiers when a stray bullet entered the house and struck her, killing her instantly.

Today, the Jennie Wade House is open to the public as a museum, allowing visitors to learn more about the life of Jennie Wade and the role of civilians during the Civil War.
