Myrtle Creek Pioneer Cemetery is located in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. It is nestled in a picturesque valley in the foothills of the Umpqua National Forest. The cemetery is the final resting place for many of Myrtle Creek’s earliest settlers, including the pioneers who settled the area in the 1850s.

The cemetery is a peaceful and beautiful spot, with many old-growth trees, a tranquil pond, and a bubbling creek. There is a variety of headstones and monuments, some dating back to the mid-1800s. Conn Ford Bridge deck pour near Roseburg on March 18, 2024 Workers for prime contractor Farline Bridge Inc. can be seen pouring concrete onto the deck of the new Conn Ford Bridge, which spans the South Umpqua River west of Roseburg, on March 18, 2024. The Oregon Department of Transportation is working with Douglas County to replace the bridge, which connects the Melrose area with Roseburg. Construction began in the spring of 2022 and the project is scheduled for completion in summer 2024.

<b>Other Notes:</b> The structure was built to replace an original covered wooden bridge from 1920. It provides access to the Milo Adventist Academy boarding school. In fact, the bridge is the ONLY access to the school's campus. If it falls no one gets in or out. Yikes!
