The Malheur Country Historical Society is an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Malheur County, Oregon. Founded in 1953, the Society is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that collects, preserves, and interprets the history of Malheur County. The Society consists of a board of trustees, officers, and members who work to raise funds and promote the Society’s mission.

The Society operates a museum, which is housed in an old school building in Ontario, Oregon. The museum is open to the public and features a variety of exhibits and artifacts related to the history of Malheur County.
