September 17, 2021: "The Eagle", Roscoe Conkling Park, Utica, New York Standing on a high ridge with a commanding view over the downtown skyline, <i>The Eagle</i> - a six-foot bronze statue sculpted in 1923 by noted artist Charles Keck - is one of the most well-known landmarks at Roscoe Conkling Park in Utica, New York.

The Remsen Steuben Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Remsen, New York. Founded in 1975, the society is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the town of Remsen and the surrounding area. The society operates out of an 1850s building that was once a general store and post office, and has been restored to serve as a museum and community center.

The museum features a collection of artifacts and exhibits showcasing the history of Remsen and the surrounding area, including displays on the Mohawk Valley, the Erie Canal, and local industries like farming and logging. There are also exhibits on notable residents of the area, including musician and songwriter Henry Clay Work.
