In a Voisin airplane, Henri Farman accomplished the first circular and kilometer flights in Europe. After these publicized flights, Norvin Rinek of Easton, Pennsylvania contracted the Voisins to have this aircraft built in which to test his aircraft engines. This machine hung from the rafters of his factory for over sixty years.

Pontiac guitar Steve Heller’s Fabulous Furniture in the Catskills offers a mix of high-end Nakashima-inspired furniture and whimsical sci-fi-ish scrap metal sculptures. I suspect the one subsidizes the other — but on the other hand, I’m sure the sculptures bring a lot of traffic into the store.

This guitar seems to have started off life as the rear quarter panel off an early 1950s Pontiac Chieftan. I figured that out by dint of a Google Lens search of the medallion at the bottom (which I couldn't parse, but now I see that it’s an upside-down Chief Pontiac). Heller’s metal shop also does custom cars, specializing in flame-painted minivans.
