1908 Voisin biplane, Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome From the sign: In a Voisin airplane, Henri Farman accomplished the first circular and kilometer flights in Europe. After these publicized flights, Norvin Rinek of Easton, Pennsylvania contracted the Voisins to have this aircraft built in which to test his aircraft engines. This machine hung from the rafters of his factory for over sixty years.
