The Bernhard Museum Complex (BMC) in Auburn, California is a unique museum that celebrates the history of Auburn and its surrounding towns. The complex consists of three connected buildings, each of which houses a different museum. The first building, the William Bernhard Museum, is dedicated to the history of Auburn and contains artifacts from the Gold Rush era, Native American artifacts, and items from the town's early residents.

The second building, the Placer County Museum, is dedicated to the history of Placer County and contains artifacts from the region's early settlers, including the Chinese gold miners, pioneers, and miners from other parts of the world. The final building, the Auburn Fire Museum, is dedicated to the history of firefighting in the Auburn area. It contains historic fire engines, tools, and other artifacts related to firefighting.
