Historic Morven is a historic landmark located in Princeton, New Jersey. The mansion, originally known as the Stockton House, was built in the 18th century and has served as the home of several prominent families throughout its history. In 1945, it was purchased by the state of New Jersey and converted into a museum.

The mansion is a two-and-a-half-story building with a classic Georgian architecture style. It features a symmetrical facade with a central entrance, flanked by two chimneys. The interior of the mansion has been restored to reflect the different periods of its history, showcasing the furnishings and decorative arts of the various owners.

The property surrounding the mansion is expansive and includes gardens, a carriage house, and a museum gift shop. Visitors can explore the gardens which feature plants and trees that are native to New Jersey, as well as a pond and a gazebo.

Historic Morven hosts numerous events throughout the year, including tours, lectures, and exhibits that focus on the history of Princeton and the state of New Jersey. The museum is open to the public and offers visitors a glimpse into the lives of some of the most notable families in the area.
