The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art is located in the historic city of Laurel, Mississippi. The museum was founded in 1923 by Lauren and Lula Rogers, who donated their family home, Hillcrest, to the city of Laurel as a museum. The museum is situated on an 8-acre campus with gardens, a sculpture court, and a lake. Its permanent collection includes works of American and European art from the 16th to the 20th centuries, as well as African and Native American pieces and a significant number of Asian artworks.

The museum also has several changing exhibitions throughout the year, as well as educational programs for all ages. The museum's education department provides a variety of activities and programs, from lectures and classes to summer camps and family days.
