INTERNATIONAL CHECKER HALL OF FAME

The International Checker Hall of Fame (ICHF) is located in Petal, Mississippi and was founded in 1984 to honor the world's greatest checkers players. The ICHF is the only of its kind in the world and houses a collection of checker-related artifacts, memorabilia, and photographs, as well as a library and interactive exhibits.

The ICHF was established to recognize the best checkers players from all over the world, and to promote the game of checkers. It houses the checker boards and pieces of the greatest checkers players in the world and pays tribute to them with an interactive exhibit area that showcases the rules, strategies, and history of the game.

The ICHF also houses a library of checkers books and magazines, as well as a collection of past tournament records and results. Visitors can also view the history of checkers in the US, as well as the development of the game in other countries.

The ICHF also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including tournaments, workshops, and lectures. There are also special events, such as the World Championship, which is held every five years.

The ICHF is open to the public and admission is free. It is a great place to learn about the history and development of checkers, as well as to experience the game firsthand.
