The Moon Cabin This log cabin dates from the early 1860s. It housed the Moon family, and Lansing architect Darius Moon grew up in this home. The structures he built were, of course, <a href="https://discover.hubpages.com/education/The-Daring-Darius-Moon-mid-Michigans-Forgotten-Genius" rel="noreferrer nofollow">rather more fancy</a>. The cabin was north of where I worked when I moved to the Lansing area.
