Navarre-Anderson Trading Post is a historic trading post located in Monroe, Michigan. It is situated on the banks of the River Raisin, and it was established in the early 1800s by two fur traders, Oliver Navarre and Joseph Anderson. The trading post was a hub for trade between the Native Americans and European settlers during the early settlement of Michigan. It was also a popular stop for traders moving goods between Detroit and other parts of the Midwest.

The Navarre-Anderson Trading Post is a well-preserved example of early frontier architecture. It is a two-story wooden building with a steeply pitched roof and a large central chimney. The trading post features a large fireplace, a trading room, and a sleeping loft. Visitors can see the original furnishings, including the trading counter, shelves, and storage bins.

Today, the Navarre-Anderson Trading Post is a popular tourist attraction and historic site. Mills for the Ohio Savings Bank and Trust Company. The building stands 12 stories and 178 feet (52 meters) tall, and was one of the tallest buildings in Toledo at the time of its completion. The building is clad in white terra cotta with replacement windows, large bays on the first and second floors, decorative reliefs, a copper cornice with brackets, dentils, and acroterions, and an arched main entrance bay with a decorative trim surround. The building is a contributing structure in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.

National City Bank Building, Madison Avenue and St. Clair Street, Toledo, OH Built in 1929-1930, this Art Deco-style skyscraper was designed by Mills, Rhines, Bellman and Nordhoff to house the Ohio Savings Bank and Trust Company, which subsequently folded in 1931 due to the Great Depression. In 1935, after a period of housing various office tenants, the building became home to the Owens-Illinois Glass Company headquarters, remaining the home of the company’s corporate offices until 1982. In 1982, the building was purchased by the Ohio Citizens Bank, which merged with the National City Bank in 1992, after which the building became known as the National City Bank Building. Since 2010, the building has been known as the PNC Bank Building, due to the acquisition of National City Bank by PNC in 2008. The building stands 29 stories and 368 feet (112 meters) tall, and was the tallest skyscraper in Toledo from the time of its completion until the construction of the Fiberglass Building in 1969. The building features a limestone-clad exterior with a massing that tapers towards the roofline with multiple setbacks, replacement windows, decorative carved reliefs, roman arched bays at the base and top of the building, a large arched transom over the main entrance door, a black polished stone base, decorative stone gargoyles jutting from the building’s exterior, a lower rear wing, and recessed spandrels.
