FRIENDS OF SCHELL BRIDGE

Friends of Schell Bridge is a non-profit organization based in Northfield, Massachusetts, dedicated to preserving the historic Schell Bridge. The bridge was built in 1903 and spans the Connecticut River, connecting Northfield and Gill. The bridge was closed to traffic in 1985 and has been a subject of controversy and debate ever since.
