HISTORIC SAHUARO RANCH

Sahuaro Ranch is a historic ranch located in Glendale, Arizona. It was originally established in 1886 by Walter and Martha Dalton, who purchased the land from the United States government. The ranch takes its name from the native saguaro cacti that cover the landscape.

The ranch is a twenty-acre park and includes a farmhouse, barns, and other structures that were built during the time that the Daltons owned the ranch. The farmhouse, which was constructed in 1898, is a classic example of Queen Anne style architecture. Other buildings include a stable, bunkhouse, garage, and windmill.

The park also includes several other historical features, including a railroad station, a blacksmith shop, a bunkhouse, and a livery stable. The ranch also contains a variety of gardens, including a cactus garden, a rose garden, and a citrus grove.
