Chippiannock Cemetery is located in Rock Island, Illinois. It is the oldest and largest cemetery in Rock Island County, and has been in operation since 1854. The cemetery consists of over 117 acres of rolling hills and mature trees. It is divided into sections and includes several mausoleums and memorials.

The cemetery is well-known for its unique monuments, including a number of statues, obelisks, and mausoleums. One of the most famous monuments is the “Lonely Soldier,” which pays tribute to those who died in the Civil War. Other notable monuments include the Grand Army of the Republic monument and the Veterans of Foreign Wars memorial.
