The Shore Line Interurban Historical Society (SLIHS) is a non-profit organization based in Lake Forest, Illinois. Founded in 1986, the organization is dedicated to preserving the history of the electric railway system that ran from Waukegan, Illinois to Chicago from 1909 to 1938.
