The Arizona Council for History Education (ACHE) is a non-profit organization based in Tempe, Arizona. It was founded in 2000 with the mission of improving history education in Arizona’s public and private schools. ACHE works to promote the development of strong history programs in Arizona schools, and to provide resources and support to help teachers and students achieve success in their studies.

ACHE is composed of members from all walks of life, including teachers, historians, community members, and other interested individuals. The organization works to ensure that history is taught in a manner that is both informative and engaging. ACHE sponsors workshops and conferences for teachers, and offers online resources for students and teachers alike. In addition, ACHE works with state and local organizations to help promote history education.

ACHE is an advocate for history education in Arizona, and works to ensure that the state’s students receive a thorough and comprehensive history education. Through its advocacy, ACHE strives to help teachers create dynamic history lessons and provide students with the resources they need to be successful. ACHE also works to ensure that the history of Arizona is included in the curriculum, so that students can gain a better understanding of the state’s unique history.

In addition to its advocacy efforts, ACHE also works to grow the field of history education in Arizona. The organization works to create partnerships with universities and other organizations, and it provides resources to help teachers and students excel in their studies. ACHE also sponsors grants and awards to recognize outstanding history teachers and students in the state.

ACHE is committed to providing resources, support, and advocacy to help ensure that Arizona’s students receive the best possible history education.
