It's unusual for me to consider posting a color version of a photo that I originally posted in black-and-white.  And...really, there was nothing wrong with the original, a very <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/wrherndon/4601950602/in/album-72177720315376572/">moody shot</a>.  But the color version is so different.  It almost sparkles.  It deserved to be seen.

The Mark Twain Circle of America is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and appreciation of Mark Twain's life and works. Located in Winterville, Georgia, the Circle brings together scholars, educators, students, and fans of Twain from around the world.
