The Anna Maria Island Art League (AMI Art League) is a non-profit organization located in the city of Holmes Beach, Florida. Founded in 1971, the organization strives to enrich the cultural life of the community by providing educational and cultural experiences through visual arts.
The AMI Art League provides a variety of programs and activities including exhibitions, workshops, classes and lectures, and art festivals. The League has a permanent home in the Holmes Beach City Hall, where members host exhibitions and workshops. The League also sponsors the Annual Outdoor Art Festival, which takes place each November in the nearby city of Bradenton Beach.
The AMI Art League offers free membership for artists and art lovers of all ages. Members receive discounts on classes, workshops and other events. The League also runs a year-round gallery and gift shop, which features artwork by its members.
The League is committed to educating the public about the visual arts and providing a venue for creative expression and collaboration. Through its various activities and events, the AMI Art League strives to promote the appreciation and understanding of the visual arts and to foster a greater appreciation for the beauty of the Anna Maria Island community.
