USS FORRESTAL

The USS Forrestal is a decommissioned supercarrier located in Tampa, Florida. It is the first of its class, and was commissioned in October 1955. The ship was named after James Forrestal, the first US Secretary of Defense. It has been the centerpiece of the Tampa Bay area for almost 25 years, and is a popular tourist attraction.
