The Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center in Stuart, Florida is a nonprofit environmental education and research center dedicated to protecting and restoring Florida’s coastal ecosystems. Founded in 1964, the center is located on Hutchinson Island, just off the coast of Stuart, and encompasses 65 acres of estuarine, mangrove, and upland habitats.

Visitors to the center can explore the trails, boardwalks, and observation towers to get a close-up view of the natural wildlife, including dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, and a variety of birds.
