The Shook Museum Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. that was founded in 2004 by the Shook family. Its mission is to use its resources to promote a better understanding of the cultural, historic, and economic contributions of African Americans in the United States.

The Foundation is dedicated to preserving and interpreting African American history and culture through its exhibitions and programs. Its focus is on education, research, and preservation of African American history and culture.
