The Graham Perry Award Committee in Washington DC is a non-profit organization that was established in 2004 to honor the legacy of Graham Perry, a prominent DC political figure and civil rights leader. The committee works to recognize, celebrate, and promote the contributions of individuals, organizations, and communities to the Washington DC area.

The committee's mission is to foster a spirit of collaboration and service, while also celebrating the diversity of the Washington DC area. Each year, the committee identifies and recognizes individuals and organizations that are making meaningful contributions in the areas of civil rights, education, health, public service and the arts. The committee also provides grants to organizations, supports educational programming and provides scholarships to college-bound students.

The committee is made up of DC-area citizens, including leaders in the fields of education, civil rights, health, public service and the arts. The committee meets quarterly and hosts an annual awards ceremony to honor its awardees. In addition to recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations, the committee provides financial resources and other support to ensure that the legacy of Graham Perry is remembered and celebrated for generations to come.
