The Diplomatic Reception Rooms, located within the U.S. Department of State in Washington DC, are a set of 42 ornate rooms used for official events and meetings with foreign dignitaries. The rooms are decorated with art, furniture, and artifacts from around the world, representing the cultural heritage of the United States and its diplomatic partners.

The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard, and include a formal reception hall, a library, a dining room, and several smaller meeting rooms. Each room is decorated with historic paintings, sculptures, and furnishings, many of which have been donated by foreign governments or private individuals.

The Diplomatic Reception Rooms are open to the public for guided tours, which provide visitors with an opportunity to see the historic rooms and learn about their significance in American diplomacy. Special events, such as concerts and lectures, are also held in the rooms throughout the year.
