Spark Plug Collectors of America Inc (SPCA) is a non-profit organization located in Simsbury, CT dedicated to the preservation, study and enjoyment of vintage spark plugs and related items. Founded in 1978, SPCA is a membership-based organization with members from all over the United States and Canada, as well as overseas.
SPCA’s mission is to promote the knowledge and appreciation of spark plugs and related items through education, research and collecting. To this end, they offer a range of resources to their members including a quarterly newsletter, an annual Spark Plug Collectors’ Conclave, and a library with a variety of reference materials.
SPCA also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as the annual Spark Plug Collectors’ Show & Swap Meet and the annual Spark Plug Collectors’ Auction. These events provide members with a chance to buy, sell and trade spark plugs and related items.
In addition to their events, SPCA also offers a variety of educational programs and activities such as lectures, seminars, and workshops to help members gain a better understanding of spark plug history and technology.
SPCA is an active organization and they strive to stay current with the latest trends in spark plug collecting and technology. They offer a variety of resources to help their members stay informed and engaged, and they welcome all who share their passion for spark plug collecting.
