SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT HALL OF FAME

The Southeast Connecticut Hall of Fame is located in Waterford, Connecticut. It was established in 2009 to honor individuals who have made a lasting impact on the region. The goal of this organization is to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of individuals who have made a difference in southeastern Connecticut.

The Hall of Fame accepts nominations from anyone in the community, and selection is based on four criteria: impact, excellence, service, and innovation. Selected individuals are inducted into the Hall of Fame during an annual ceremony. Inductees are honored for their outstanding contributions to the region in fields such as the arts, business, education, government, health, science, sports, and philanthropy.

The Hall of Fame includes a public display of inductees, which is located in the lobby of the Waterford Public Library. The display includes plaques, photographs, and biographies of each inductee. The Hall of Fame also has a website, which includes a list of all inductees, a brief biography of each, and links to additional information about their accomplishments.

The Southeast Connecticut Hall of Fame is an important part of the region’s history and culture. It recognizes and celebrates the individuals who have made a lasting impact on the community, and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and honor those who have made a difference.
