The Stratford Historical Society is a non-profit organization that was established in 1918 to preserve, collect and interpret the history of Stratford, Connecticut. The Society is responsible for maintaining a number of historical sites, including the historic Stratford Academy, the Stratford Historical Society Museum, the Old Town Hall, the Old Academy Green, and the Stratford Burying Ground.

The Society's Museum is located in the old Stratford Academy building, which was built in 1819 and is the oldest standing schoolhouse in the state of Connecticut. The Museum houses a variety of artifacts, documents, photographs and other items that tell the story of Stratford's past. The Museum also hosts exhibits and other events throughout the year.

The Society's Old Town Hall, built in 1743, is a National Historic Landmark and serves as the headquarters of the Society, housing its offices and library. The Old Town Hall is open to the public and is the site of many educational and historical activities.

The Old Academy Green is the site of the original Stratford Academy, built in 1712, and is now a public park. The Green is a popular destination for local residents and visitors alike, and features a variety of monuments and memorials.

The Stratford Burying Ground, established in 1725, is the oldest cemetery in Stratford and contains the graves of many of Stratford's earliest settlers. The cemetery is open to the public and offers guided tours.

The Stratford Historical Society works to educate the public about Stratford's history through its various programs and events, and is dedicated to preserving the town's past for future generations.
