Roseland Cottage is a Gothic Revival-style summer home located in Woodstock, Connecticut. It was built in 1846 by Henry C. Bowen and was the first house in the United States to be built in the style. The cottage has been called one of the most significant examples of Gothic Revival architecture in New England. The house is made of brick, its walls covered with stucco, and its roof is slate. The house stands two and a half stories high with a full basement and attic, and it is surrounded by a large garden. There are two towers at the front of the house, one with a belfry and one with a widow's walk.

The house has an asymmetrical plan, with a large center hall that is flanked by two parlors on either side. It is decorated with many intricate details, including diamond pane windows, curved glass windows, and a variety of door designs. The interior features marble fireplaces, ornate wood carvings, and intricate plasterwork. It also includes a large collection of furniture and decorative objects from the mid-19th century.

Today, Roseland Cottage is owned by the Woodstock Historical Society and is open to the public for guided tours. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is considered an important example of Gothic Revival architecture in the United States.
