Perris / Perris Theater (# 0018) Opened in 1946, designed in an art-deco style but apparently modified at various times. It’s now owned by the city for its historical value to downtown, but closed due to structural problems.

Perris / SoCal Rail Museum tankers (# 0010) Didn’t find any history on these tank cars, but with the exception of the furthest (and most rusted one) they’re not like anything I recall seeing.

The day I visited the museum there was almost no one there, which made it easier to explore the grounds but I didn’t get into any of the car barns. Pictures from visiting those at a previous time are with the tag to Southern California Railway Museum.

Perris / SoCal Rail Museum UP 2564 (# 0007) Originally built in 1921 for a Union Pacific subsidiary and traded UP subsidiary “Oregon Short Line” in 1923 where it was used until 1955. Retired in 1959 and wound up at this museum in 1997. See:
