The Ojai Valley Historical Museum is located in the heart of the charming town of Ojai, California. Established in 1979, the museum is housed in the historic Weeks Hall, a two-story, Mediterranean-style building built in 1912. The museum’s collection includes more than 17,000 artifacts and photographs that tell the stories of the area’s early settlers and its growth into the agricultural and cultural center it is today.

The museum offers a wide variety of exhibits, including a permanent exhibit on the Chumash Indians, who were the first inhabitants of the area, and a recreated 1912 living room. Visitors can also explore the history of the citrus industry in Ojai, and the many unique Victorian homes that were built in the town. The museum also houses a research library with an extensive collection of books about the history of Ojai Valley.

The museum also hosts a variety of educational programs and events throughout the year such as lectures and workshops. Additionally, the museum’s grounds feature a historic citrus orchard, a native plant garden, and a demonstration olive-processing mill.
