The Sacramento Pioneer Association (SPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and culture of the Sacramento Valley region. Established in 1854, the SPA has been a staple in the region for over a century and a half. It is the oldest continuously operating regional historical society in California and the second oldest in the nation.
