The Trail End was originally built in 1913 as a private home for prominent Wyoming businessman and Senator, John B. Kendrick. The house is a blend of various architectural styles, including Tudor Revival, Spanish Colonial, and Jacobean. The home was turned into a museum in 1978 and is now a National Historic Landmark.
