Al Capone's Vault Doors From 1928 to 1932, Al Capone moved his center of operations into the Lexington Hotel across the street from his old HQ in the Metropole Hotel and occupied the fifth floor.

Not to be confused with Geraldo Rivera's infamous "Capone's Secret Vault," the door pictured here was for a vault in Capone's office.
