Perris / Perris Theater (# 0018) Opened in 1946, designed in an art-deco style but apparently modified at various times.  It’s now owned by the city for its historical value to downtown, but closed due to structural problems.

The Lady Ada Foundation in Riverside, CA is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring girls and young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The Lady Ada Foundation offers a variety of services to its members, including an online mentorship program, career workshops, and an annual scholarship program. The online mentorship program matches members with mentors from the local tech industry, who can provide guidance on pursuing a STEM career. The career workshops provide young women with the opportunity to meet with industry professionals and learn more about potential STEM careers. The annual scholarship program awards up to $10,000 to female students pursuing STEM degrees.

The Lady Ada Foundation also hosts a series of events throughout the year, including hackathons, coding classes, and networking events. The hackathons give women the chance to collaborate on projects and hone their coding skills. The coding classes provide hands-on instruction in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The networking events offer members the opportunity to connect with other women in tech, as well as industry professionals.
