The Mount Vernon Ladies' Association is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1853 with the aim of preserving the historic estate of George Washington in Mount Vernon, Virginia. The association is the oldest national historic preservation organization in the United States, and it is responsible for the preservation and maintenance of the beautiful estate.
