Kerr Place is a historic home located in Onancock, Virginia. This two-story brick mansion was built in 1799 by John Shepherd Ker, a prominent merchant in the area. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Federal architecture in the region.

The house features a symmetrical façade with a central entrance and six-over-six windows. The interior boasts high ceilings, intricate woodwork, and a grand staircase. The first floor includes a parlor, dining room, and library, while the second floor houses four bedrooms and a central hallway.

Kerr Place has a rich history, having served as a private residence, a boarding house, and a nursing home. In the mid-20th century, it was rescued from demolition by the Eastern Shore of Virginia Historical Society, which restored the house and opened it to the public as a museum.

Today, visitors can tour Kerr Place and learn about the history of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The museum features exhibits on local culture, industry, and architecture, as well as rotating art exhibits.
