FORT BRAGG MENDOCINO COAST HISTORICAL SOCIETY (FBMCHS) is a non-profit organization located in Fort Bragg, California. It is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and promoting the history of the Mendocino Coast. The Society was established in 1974 and is one of the oldest historical societies in the state.

FBMCHS is responsible for the care, preservation, and management of eight historic structures in Fort Bragg. These include the first schoolhouse, the oldest dwelling in Fort Bragg, the oldest house in town, and a Victorian house built in 1892. The Society also manages the Fort Bragg Cemetery, a collection of artifacts, and an archive of documents and photographs.

FBMCHS is open to the public and offers educational programs, lectures, and exhibits. The Society also hosts a number of special events throughout the year, including guided tours of the historic buildings, living history demonstrations, and a Victorian Tea.

FBMCHS is also active in the community and works with other organizations, including local businesses, schools, and government agencies, to promote and preserve local history. The Society is committed to increasing public awareness of the history of the Mendocino Coast and its people.
