Infrared Camera To take infrared pictures with my point and shoot camera (not my dedicated infrared camera which is still in Japan), I bought an IR filter (a Hoya Infrared R72) and just hang it on the lens assembly of my camera. I've dropped the filter a few times but so far, it's still in one piece...

The filter is very dense, requiring a minimum of 15 seconds per exposure with a very wide aperture. The result is also a dim red image, which I process for lightness and convert to grayscale.
